Policy Highlights

These are only highlights from our Service Agreement.
The entire Service Agreement is available to new clients when they register with us.

COMMUNICATION
All communication whether it's responding to pet journals, sending us an email, responding to a system-generated email to the client from It's Raining Cats & Dogs, etc., must remain within the system.  This is to ensure everything about the client and their pet's are accessible to both the client and IRCD at all times.  Any other way of communication outside the system, unless it's a true emergency, is not permitted.

CONSULTATION VISIT

Before service begins it is required by IRCD to conduct an in-person meeting with the Client at least 7 days prior to the beginning of service.  The Client is required to register through our secured online scheduling program before a Consultation Visit is arranged.  The Consultation Visit fee is $25 and is due prior to the meeting.  The $25 fee will be a credit to the client's account when services are booked.  If a second meeting is requested for any reason after the initial Consultation Visit, a full visit charge will be required. We do not use lockboxes for any reason.  Two copies of your house key must be provided.  If you do not have two copies, another can be created for a $10 charge. There is a minimum of $50 for all first-time bookings and a last-minute charge of $50 for first-time booking which needs to start within 24-hours of calling.

PAYMENT

Unless otherwise mutually agreed upon, payment for the first service is due during the consultation visit.  It's Raining Cats & Dogs only accepts payments via credit card or debit card through our *secure online scheduling system and it is the client’s responsibility to keep this information current.  The client’s card on file will be charged up to 7 days prior to the beginning of the service period.  Accounts outstanding more than ten days from the end will be subject to a $10 late fee for every 10 days the account is overdue.  Credit card processing by Stripe.

LATE BOOKINGS

IRCD will make every effort to accommodate your last-minute booking; however, it is not a guarantee IRCD will have the availability.  If IRCD is able to accommodate the client’s late booking request, a $20 fee will be added to the visit charge, with less than 24-hours notice.  You must be a registered client in our online system in order to request a late booking.

TRESPASSERS

For the safety of your four-legged loved ones, home, and your pet sitter, no other person should be permitted in your home during the service period. No other person is permitted to care for your pets during the service period. Failure to comply will result in a breach of contract. (This is due to insurance reasons.)

MINIMUM VISIT

All dogs will be visited no less than 3 times per day when their parents are out of town.  All cats will be visited no less than once every 24 hours but strongly recommended every 12 hours.  No exceptions will be made. This is for the health and well-being of your fur-baby.

RESERVING A BOOKING/ONLINE ACCOUNT

Clients must use the online system to book their appointments. We also require that they make sure their profile and schedule are up to date. The information in the system is what we rely on for the most up-to-date information about your pet(s), bookings, and invoicing.
